Water fun!

My first swim in the pool.

A couple of weekends ago, Mummy, Daddy, and Morri went to the Eltham Leisure centre for a swim. Unfortunately there are no photos of me in action as there was no one to take the photos for me. Mummy had to take me in the pool and Daddy had Morri to take care of. So this is me in the family change room getting ready.
Like my brother, I love the water, but I was a little unsure of my new surroundings when Mummy took me the pool. I thought this was a massive bath with lots of other people in it! I just kept watching all the other people swimming. I did enjoy the experience - I was so fascinated with Morri swimming and splashing all over the place. I enjoyed the spa bath - so does Morri - its so nice and warm and the bubbles are just funny!

Happy Birthday Thomas!

A couple of weeks ago, we had mother's group and we celebrated Thomas' 1st birthday. Thomas is Will's little brother. Will is the same age as my brother. We haven't seen everyone in a while and everyone has grown up so fast. All the girls are taller than the boys!

We played in the sandpit in the backyard. I enjoyed eating the sand!

Celebrating Mummy's Day.

Morri & I made Mummy feel special. Daddy took care of us on Saturday while Mummy had her hair cut and go out on her own! Then on Sunday, on Mother's Day, we surprised her with some jewelery and a very special card/booklet - which Daddy hand sewed and Morri & I drew her some pictures inside.

My Daddy's exhibition

My Daddy had his opening night of his current paintings and drawings last Wednesday. You can go to his website to view his current show at: Michael Peck Art or better still go and see them in person as they are MAGNIFICENT at Metro Gallery (formally Metro 5 Gallery) 1214 High Street Armadale. The exhibition runs from 13th May - 7th June 2009.

10am-5.30pm Tuesday to Friday,
11am-5pm Saturdays and Sundays

Daddy is really happy with his current show and he has had alot of great feedback and interest from people. He has sold more than half of his paintings and drawings already too!

On the swings.

I love going to the park with my Mummy & Morri. On this lovely Autumn day we took a nice walk into town and bought hot chips and had a picnic lunch at the park. I didn't eat the hot chips, I just got to enjoy the aroma! Mummy made sandwiches for herself and Morri and brought them along. I had my usual pureed vegies and milk. I loved to pull up the grass with my hands - its so nice to get my hands dirty!!!
After lunch we had a play in the park. At the moment I am happy just to sit on the swings.

I love my big brother.

The moment I wake up in the morning, I can't wait to see what my big brother is up too. I just love to watch him play around me - I try so very hard to join in but I just can't seem to get around as quickly as he does! How does he do it? My brother is letting me play with some of his toys now and he will sometimes play with me. We like to tackle and roll around on the floor together. We giggle alot too! I think I can be a bit rough as my brother sometimes screams and tells me to "let go Baby-Ollie!" I like to pull at his clothes and hair!
Before we both go for our afternoon naps, I have little snuggle with my big brother in his bed before going into my own cot.
I love my big brother, he's sooooo cool!!!
